Worldmind Vision

Giving intelligence the ability to see.

Worldmind Vision is our perception layer — computer vision and sensing that help intelligent systems recognise objects, understand scenes, notice change, and flag what needs a closer look.

How machines see

From pixels to understanding.

People glance at a room and instantly know what is there and what is wrong. For a machine, that understanding is built in stages.
  1. 01

    Capture

Cameras and sensors record the scene — only when a task is authorized.

  2. 02

    Detect

Find the objects present: a bed, a towel, a lamp, a door.

  3. 03

    Recognise

Identify what each object is and its condition.

  4. 04

    Understand

Grasp the whole scene: zones, surfaces, and relationships.

  5. 05

    Track change

Compare with earlier observations and the expected standard.

  6. 06

    Flag

Highlight anomalies for a person to review.

Scene understanding

Seeing is more than spotting objects.

Switch the layers on and off to see how perception builds up — from individual objects, to the context of a space, to the details that deserve a second look.

Focus areas

Perception capabilities we are developing.

  • Computer vision

Teaching machines to interpret images and video the way people interpret what they see.

  • Object detection & recognition

Finding objects in a scene and identifying what they are — a towel, a chair, a door, a lamp.

  • Scene understanding

Going beyond single objects to understand a whole space: how things relate, what belongs, and what looks out of place.

  • Visual inspection

Comparing what is seen against an expected standard to verify condition, cleanliness, and setup.

  • Object tracking

Following objects and movement over time so systems understand change, not just snapshots.

  • Anomaly detection

Highlighting the unusual — a stain, a leak, a missing item — for a person to review.

  • Spatial awareness

Understanding depth, distance, and layout so machines can reason about physical space.

  • Environmental perception

Combining cameras with other sensors to build a richer picture of conditions in an environment.

  • Real-time visual intelligence

Processing visual information quickly enough to support timely decisions, often directly on the device.

Privacy by design

Cameras that respect people.

Visual intelligence only earns trust if it is careful about what it captures and who can see it. These principles guide how we design perception systems.
  • Purpose-limited capture

Cameras are used only for authorized tasks, in authorized places, at authorized times.

  • Process locally where possible

Analyse on the device when practical, so raw images do not need to travel.

  • Minimise and redact

Keep only what a task needs; reduce or remove anything that is not relevant.

  • Controlled access

Restrict who can view visual data, and keep it only as long as it is useful.

Where we are

Today’s focus and tomorrow’s ambition.

  1. Current focus

    Now

    • Visual inspection for hotel room readiness
    • Detecting missing items, cleanliness issues, and placement differences
    • Designing privacy safeguards into every capture step
  2. Next

    Next

    • Richer scene understanding and change tracking over time
    • Combining cameras with other sensors for environmental perception
    • Efficient real-time processing on edge devices
  3. Long-term vision

    Long-term

    • A general perception layer that helps robots and agents understand any environment
    • Spatial awareness rich enough for safe, autonomous action

Worldmind Vision is where the flow begins: it turns what cameras and sensors capture into structured understanding that Intelligence can reason about and Robotics can act on.

Help intelligent systems see the world clearly.

We would like to connect with computer vision researchers, sensor and camera partners, and operators who need reliable visual inspection.
